iQOO has added a new model to its wireless audio lineup with the launch of the iQOO TWS 5e in China. The new earbuds were unveiled alongside the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra and iQOO Z11S smartphones and come with several features focused on audio quality, gaming and connectivity.The iQOO TWS 5e packs 11mm high-resolution drivers and supports 35dB active noise cancellation (ANC). For gamers, the earbuds offer a claimed latency of 42ms, along with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for a stable wireless experience.The earbuds support AAC, SBC and LC3 codecs and feature Monster Sound gaming audio with DeepX 3.0 stereo sound. Users can select from four audio modes, including treble, bass and vocal-focused options. The TWS 5e also supports content-compatible spatial audio for a wider and more immersive three-dimensional sound experience.For connectivity, the earbuds can be paired with two devices simultaneously. They also feature touch controls for music playback and calls, as well as wear detection. Compatible Vivo and iQOO devices using the BlueOS ecosystem can also take advantage of additional features.The 35dB ANC is accompanied by AI-based call noise reduction and wind noise suppression. These features are designed to improve voice clarity during calls, particularly in noisy or windy surroundings.The iQOO TWS 5e also comes with several smart features, including remote camera control, caller ID announcements, real-time translation and an earbud-finding function. iQOO has also mentioned support for future software updates.In terms of battery life, the earbuds can provide up to 11.5 hours of playback on a single charge. With the charging case, total battery life reaches up to 50 hours when ANC is disabled. The case uses a USB Type-C port for charging.The earbuds come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and are available in Electric White and Sharp Yellow colour options.In China, the iQOO TWS 5e has been priced at CNY 149, which is roughly Rs 1,800. The company has not yet provided details about an India launch.
