The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is set to make its debut in China on August 18, and the company has already started revealing details about its upcoming flagship smartphone. The Neo series model will launch alongside the iQOO Z11S, with sales scheduled to begin on the same day. Pre-orders for the device are already live through iQOO’s official website.One of the biggest highlights of the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is expected to be its display. The smartphone will feature a flat 2K-resolution panel made using F2 luminescent material. iQOO claims that the Neo 11 Ultra will be the first smartphone in the world to use this material.The display is said to offer up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness across the entire screen. It will also feature a 98 percent first-frame brightness ratio, which is expected to improve visibility when using the phone outdoors.iQOO is also focusing on eye protection with the new display. The panel is claimed to produce less than 5 percent harmful blue light and will feature a new circular polarised light 2.0 system. According to the company, this technology is designed to provide more natural-looking light and improve eye comfort. The display can reportedly reduce its brightness to as low as 1 nit.The company also claims that the new panel is 24 percent more power efficient compared to the displays used on previous iQOO smartphones.In terms of design, iQOO has revealed a 3D flowing light effect on the rear panel. The smartphone is expected to have a 9.13mm-thick body, rounded R-corners and a matte-finish metal frame.Some additional specifications of the Neo 11 Ultra have also surfaced through an earlier China Telecom listing. The smartphone is expected to be offered with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The lineup could include configurations starting from 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and going up to 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.The phone is also tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500M chipset and a 6.83-inch display. iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 11 Ultra will launch in China on August 18 at 7pm local time, which translates to 4:30pm IST.The smartphone will reportedly be available in Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser colour options. It is also confirmed to pack a massive 9,100mAh battery.
