To honour Sardar Patel’s legacy of unity, Pema Khandu joins Bharat Parv in Gujarat

Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, traveled to Gujarat to participate in the national commemoration of the 150th birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. Khandu and his Meghalayan counterpart, Conrad K Sangma, are attending the Bharat Parv at Kevadia, which is being organized under the theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” In honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birthday, the Bharat Parv will be held in Ekta Nagar from November 1 to November 15. As officials and people from all around India honored Sardar Patel’s enormous contribution to the nation’s unification, Khandu stated the event signified a moment of national pride.

“I reached Vadodara, Gujarat today along with my friend, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri Conrad Sangma ji,” Khandu wrote in a post to X. “As the nation celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, we will attend the Bharat Parv function at Kevadia under the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’,” stated the chief minister. Khandu emphasized the enduring significance of Sardar Patel’s vision in fortifying the nation’s fabric, calling it “a proud occasion to honour the legacy of the great unifier who laid the foundation of a united India”.
