The Assam Rifles (AR) Khonsa battalion has arranged a national integration tour for students from Wangcha Rajkumar government college in Deomali, Tirap district, Arunachal Pradesh, to attend the 26th Rashtra Katha Shivir in Gujarat as part of its civic action program. The effort seeks to advance nationalism, national cohesion, and awareness of India’s progress and cultural legacy. The tour, which will take place from December 27 to January 4 of next year, will involve 11 students from the battalion’s area of responsibility. State minister of geology, mining, and minerals Wanki Lowang launched the tour from Deomali on Thursday.
The students will go to the Vedic Mission Trust-organized shivir in Pransla hamlet in Gujarat’s Rajkot region. Throughout the program, participants will engage with individuals from around the nation, broadening their perspectives and gaining knowledge about cultural variety, social harmony, and unity. By promoting constructive involvement and awareness, the national integration tour also aims to positively channel the energy of local youth while assisting in the prevention of societal issues like drug misuse and insurgency.
