Spearhead Division of Spearcorps Renders timely Rescues Stranded Vehicle at Menchuka

Spearhead Division of Spear Corps once again demonstrated the Indian Army’s commitment to service beyond duty by rendering prompt assistance to civilian during adverse weather conditions at Menchuka.

Amidst dense fog and extremely poor visibility, a civil vehicle skidded off the road, endangering the life of the driver near Yorko village. Reacting swiftly, troops in the vicinity immediately reached the site, rescued the driver from the mishap and administered timely first aid to stabilise him. The vehicle was thereafter safely recovered, ensuring restoration of normalcy in the area.

The incident highlights the high state of alertness, professionalism and humanitarian ethos of the Spearhead Gunners, who remain ever-prepared to respond not only to operational contingencies but also to assist civilians in distress, particularly in remote and challenging terrain.
