Newsweek Names Medanta India’s Number One Hospital in 2026 Global Rankings

In a major boost to patient trust and brand credibility, Medanta – The Medicity has been ranked India’s No. 1 hospital in Newsweek’s ‘World’s Best Hospitals 2026’ list, prepared in collaboration with Statista Inc.. The recognition marks the seventh consecutive year the hospital has featured among the world’s leading healthcare institutions.

The 2026 rankings evaluated over 2,500 hospitals across 32 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada and Singapore. The assessment drew on recommendations from thousands of medical experts, patient experience data, hospital quality metrics and a Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) Implementation Survey, placing strong emphasis on patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Operated by Global Health Limited, Medanta has strengthened its market positioning through sustained investments in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, aimed at improving treatment precision and patient experience.
