Guwahati is set to witness significant business activity in the water and wastewater sector as the 45th edition of the Water India Expo will be held from June 2 to 4 at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre.
The three-day industry event is expected to attract over 120 exhibitors and more than 5,000 visitors from across the country, highlighting growing market interest in sustainable water management and advanced treatment technologies.
According to organisers, the expo will bring together manufacturers, technology providers, policymakers, consultants, entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders under one platform for business networking, market expansion and technology exchange.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of products and solutions related to water treatment, reverse osmosis, recycling, filtration, desalination, packaged drinking water, UV disinfection, membranes, chemicals and domestic water purification systems.
Industry experts believe the event will create new business opportunities for companies operating in the water infrastructure and treatment segment, especially in the Northeast region where demand for sustainable water solutions continues to rise.
Live product demonstrations, presentations and networking sessions will also be organised during the expo to encourage interaction among businesses and sector experts.
Representatives from government bodies, engineering organisations, manufacturing industries, distributors, builders, consultants, academic institutions and system integrators are expected to participate in the event.
