Siemens Limited has announced the launch of the 14th edition of the Siemens Scholarship Program, inviting applications from deserving and meritorious first-year engineering students enrolled in government engineering colleges across India.
The four-year scholarship initiative provides financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and aims to promote equal access to technical education. As part of its focus on gender inclusion, 50% of the scholarships are reserved for girls.
Based on the German Dual Education model, the programme combines academic learning with industry exposure to support the holistic development of students and prepare them for sustainable careers in engineering, research and development and manufacturing. Siemens said the initiative leverages its expertise in innovative technologies and industry know-how to promote technical education and develop industry-ready talent.
As of 2026, more than 2,300 students from 176 government engineering colleges across 28 states have been part of the Siemens Scholarship Program.
First-year students from Mechanical/Production, Electrical, Electronics/Instrumentation, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Computer/Information Technology streams are eligible. Applicants must be up to 20 years old, have a minimum 60% SSC aggregate and at least 50% HSC aggregate, including 60% in PCM. Annual family income must not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
