The Armed Forces Veterans’ Day was commemorated in Tawang with a ceremony at the Tawang War Memorial, organized by the Tawang Brigade to honor India’s veterans. The event included a wreath-laying ceremony led by Brigadier Bhupal Singh and local veteran Koncho Dorjee Lama, followed by an interactive session where veterans shared their experiences. A NAMAN Registration Counter was set up to address veterans’ grievances. The Commander of the Tawang Brigade also recognized distinguished veterans for their contributions to society. The celebration featured an Army Band performance and patriotic music, and veterans visited the Major Bob Khathing Museum, reflecting on his significant legacy in Arunachal Pradesh.
