Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested while recording a song from Lahore to Dubai. Such news spreads all over the world. On Monday evening, the singer was arrested at the Dubai airport. Rahat was arrested based on the complaint made by his former manager.

However, within a few moments of the news spreading, the artist entered the event. He released a statement. In that video, it can be seen that the singer is sitting comfortably. “Everything is fine,” he told fans. The recording of our song went very well. Please don’t listen to the nasty rumours. I will return to you soon.”

Raht Fateh Ali Khan is one of the most popular singers in Bollywood, although he is Pakistani by birth. He has sung popular songs like ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nayan’, ‘Tere Bin’, and ‘Ore Piya’. The Indian audience did not hesitate to accept him, even though he was a citizen of India. But for now, his way to sing in India is closed. Since the 2016 Uri attack, Pakistani artists have been banned from performing in India.

This time he was arrested as a result of the dismissal of the manager, who spread rumors. Earlier in 2014, Rahat was arrested at the Delhi airport with 1 lakh 24 thousand US dollars in cash by the detectives of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence. A case was filed under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, or FEMA Act. However, he denied the allegations from the beginning.

Rahat’s disagreement with manager Salman Ahmed came to light for the first time last January. After that, in a press conference, the artist informed us that he was breaking up with Salman in a ‘peaceful’ manner. Rahat claimed that Salman kept information from him regarding the remuneration for concerts and other events. He doesn’t want to cheat his fans. Rahat dismissed Salman, a 12-year employee, mainly on the charge of breach of trust. Currently, Rahat’s wife Nida’s organisation looks after all the artist’s work.
