Om Arham Ventures has announced the signing of a new upscale 190-room hotel in Guwahati in partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The brownfield project is slated to open in the second half of 2028 and marks Wyndham’s official entry into the Guwahati market, a major commercial and tourism hub in Northeast India.
The upcoming hotel will offer 190 contemporary rooms and suites designed for both business and leisure travellers. Notably, the property will operate as a pure-vegetarian hotel, aligning with changing guest preferences in the region.
Planned as a full-service upscale property, the hotel will include multiple dining options, large banquet and conference facilities, and wellness amenities such as a fitness centre, spa, and swimming pool. Its extensive banquet spaces are expected to position it as a key venue for weddings, social gatherings, and MICE events in the city.
The signing further strengthens Wyndham’s growing pipeline in India, underscoring its continued focus on expanding in high-growth and emerging markets.
