Rajganj, 13th July (AD): A campaign has been started by the Rajganj block administration to keep the Rajganj market free from encroachment.
This initiative was taken following the instructions of the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to free the government land from encroachment. The operation saw the participation of BDO Prashant Burman and IC Anupam Majumdar of Rajganj police station, along with other police personnel.
In this regard, BDO Prashant Barman stressed that the official guidelines prohibit business owners from encroaching on footpaths. As a result, traders have been advised to vacate the footpaths. Business owners have been warned of further action if found encroaching on footpaths in future.
