Samsung has expanded its budget-focused Galaxy A series in India with the launch of the Galaxy A08, priced at Rs. 18,499 for its lone 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model which is available in Dark Blue, Green, and Silver color options via Samsung Exclusive Stores, partner retailers, Samsung.com, and other online platforms alongside zero-interest EMI options up to six months on eligible bank cards and up to nine-month plans through NBFC partners. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, an 8mm slim profile despite housing a massive 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating, and a MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset paired with expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card and Samsung Knox security. Running on Android 16-based One UI 9, the device comes with an unprecedented software commitment of six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, while packing advanced AI and search tools like Circle to Search 3.0, Gemini, Perplexity accessible via voice commands or the power button, Quick Share, and Modes and Routines.
