The sky is partly cloudy, the forecast is from the Meteorological Department

Due to the rains, the temperature dropped by 11 degrees in Kolkata in one blow in the last three days. The mercury continued to fall in the districts of South Bengal as well. On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department said that even if there is no significant change in temperature in the next 24 hours, the temperature will gradually increase by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius after that.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in two Parganas, two Medinipur, and Jhargram on Wednesday. Thunderstorms may occur in some places along with rain. Light rain is predicted in almost all the districts of South Bengal starting Thursday. That is, the entire state can get wet with rain on these days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a low-pressure axis from Odisha to Tamil Nadu, passing over Vidarbha in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. There is also a cyclone over Assam and Rajasthan. This rain is due to these two. However, despite scattered rains, the weather in South Bengal will remain dry overall.

Kolkata and South Bengal will have partly cloudy skies on Tuesday. Kolkata can have a maximum and minimum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius, respectively. Before the summer, the city dwellers were exhausted by the heat. In many districts of South Bengal, the temperature crossed the 40-degree mark. In that scenario, the stormy weather on Sunday brought down the temperature a lot.
