Youth held on charges of attempting to outrage modesty of women in Arunachal

Naharlagun Police has arrested a 19-year-old youth for allegedly stalking, trespassing, and attempting to outrage the modesty of women in two separate incidents in the Itanagar Capital Region.
Naharlagun SP Nyelam Nega said the accused has been identified as John Loda, a resident of Seppa in East Kameng district.
According to police, the first incident took place around 3 am on June 7 when a woman lodged a complaint at Naharlagun police station stating that an unknown man was stalking her and attempting to break into her house.
A second complaint was registered at Nirjuli Police Station. In this case, a young woman alleged that an unknown person entered her rented room in Lekhi while she was asleep around 3.30 am.
According to police, the accused allegedly tried to assault her after entering the room. The woman resisted and fought back bravely. During the struggle, she suffered minor injuries to her face before the accused fled from the spot.
Following investigations, police identified the suspect and he was arrested by a police team led by Inspector Krishnendu Dev, the Officer-in-Charge of Naharlagun Police Station.
