Arunachal Celebrates National Pride Through Har Ghar Tiranga Activities

Arunachal Marks Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign with Rallies Across Districts Arunachal Pradesh witnessed a series of patriotic activities under the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with Governor KT Parnaik distributing national flags to officials and staff at Lok Bhavan and urging them to promote patriotism, unity and civic responsibility in their families and communities. The Governor highlighted the sacrifices of freedom fighters and reminded citizens to display the Tricolour with dignity and in accordance with the Flag Code of India. Across the state, Tiranga yatras and rallies were also organised to promote national unity and pride. The Itanagar unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad held a Tiranga Yatra marking 150 years of Vande Mataram, attended by Home Minister Mama Natung and other officials. In Ziro, citizens, officials and community leaders participated in a Tiranga Yatra following addresses on national unity and collective responsibility. In Lower Siang’s Likabali, around 450 participants joined a 4.5-km bike rally organised by the police, district administration and Art & Culture Department. The rally brought together personnel from the ITBP, Arunachal Pradesh Police, GREF, youth groups and other organisations. Officials encouraged young people to contribute to nation-building while upholding the values of patriotism, unity and responsibility.
