The Directorate of Census Operations , Arunachal Pradesh, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on Monday organised a District-Level Training Programme on the District Census Handbook (DCHB) 2027 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Tawang.
Phiralin Passah, Deputy Director of Census, and Daniel Jones, Junior Consultant, Census Operations, imparted training to the field functionaries, familiarising them with various aspects related to the preparation of the District Census Handbook 2027.
Tenzin Jambey , Assistant Commissioner-cum-Assistant Director of Economics and Statistics, along with other concerned officials, attended the programme.
The training marks an important step towards strengthening the preparedness and capacity of field functionaries for Census 2027, ensuring systematic and accurate compilation of vital district-level demographic and socio-economic information.
