The Arunachal Pradesh government has announce the enhancement of Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners/family pensioners from 58 per cent to 60 per cent effective January 1, 2026.
“This revision will benefit approximately 69,248 employees and 40,477 pensioners across the State. Arrears for the period January-April 2026 will be paid in cash, while the revised DA/DR will be included in regular monthly salary and pension thereafter,” informed Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
He said this decision reflects the Government’s continued commitment to the welfare and financial well-being of its employees and pensioners.
The enhanced DA will apply to All India Service Officers serving under the Arunachal Pradesh government, central government employees on deputation to the state government, and all regular state government employees.
This revision follows the Centre’s decision regarding the enhancement of DA and DR for central government employees and pensioners.
