Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S26 FE in India, bringing a new Fan Edition model with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, Exynos 2500 processor and a 4,900mAh battery. The smartphone has been launched in a single storage variant and comes with a triple-camera setup at the back.
The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can deliver up to 1,900 nits of brightness. Samsung has equipped the handset with its Exynos 2500 chipset, which is based on a 3nm process and is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
On the software side, the phone runs One UI 9 based on Android 17. Samsung has promised seven years of software and security updates. The device is also the Galaxy S26 series model to launch with the company’s latest software.
For photography, there is a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor offering a 123-degree field of view. The third rear camera is an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel camera is placed on the front for selfies and video calls. The smartphone also gets Gemini Omni for creating and editing video clips using photos and videos stored in the Gallery.
The connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4. The handset supports two nano-SIM cards.
A 4,900mAh battery powers the Galaxy S26 FE. It supports 45W wired charging, with Samsung claiming that the device can reach up to 69 per cent charge in around 30 minutes using a 45W adapter. Wireless charging is also supported at 15W, while Wireless PowerShare allows the phone to charge compatible devices wirelessly.
The Galaxy S26 FE measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193 grams. It also has an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
In India, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 79,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It is offered in Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite colour options.
Samsung has announced several launch offers, including an exchange upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 8,000. Customers can also opt for up to 30 months of no-cost EMI through select NBFC partners and receive an additional Rs. 3,000 upgrade bonus. Other options include up to Rs. 7,000 cashback on major bank cards, a 12-month no-cost bank EMI and an 18-month bank EMI option on purchases made through Samsung’s e-store.
